i have a str8 tenor w/ a 9" bell. very snug fit, the horn doesn't feel like it's moving around inside the case. fits in the overhead of most planes w/ 3 seats on both sides. the only shortcomings are 1) it's not the most comfortable thing to carry on your back, and 2) not a lot of room in the inside storage inside, although i can carry 2 bottles of slide lubricant, a tube of tuning slide grease, small spray bottle, mouthpiece, m'piece brush & ear plugs!
overall, a sturdy, air-tight, compact case
