WARM-UP" for BASS TROMBONE Designed by Shinji Hamanaga, Japan. Shinji
was engaged at Yamaha for many years where he designed and participated
in the development of many projects. One in particular is the world
renowned "Silent Brass". "Warm Up"for Tenor and Bass Trombone is Shinji
latest invention. This new mute was introduced to me by NYC Recording
Artist Jim Pugh.
LIGHT WEIGHT ( BASS TROMBONE:75g) COMPACT (able to setup in the bell) WELL BALANCED SOUND (Pitch / Intonation / Blow Feeling) SILENCE (Nominal level:about -30dB) You can warm up at anytime! Anywhere! FIT TIGHT to the bell SIMPLE CONSTRUCTION
"Now
for the good stuff. The man who designed the silent brass mute (Shinji
Hamanaga) left Yahama and is making horns, mouthpieces and a few mutes.
His trombone and bass trombone practice mutes are INCREDIBLE. They are
as intune as the Silent Brass and just a tiny bit louder. But they fit
flush with the bell (in the case or bag) and they weigh almost
nothing!! The Manhattan Jazz Orchestra section flipped over them -
Eijiro Nakagawa introduced me to them and he and I have flipped over
them."
Enjoy - you're not going to believe this mute Jim Pugh
